In a classroom, 70% of the information presented is visual. Consequently, users must be able to work in visual and ergonomic comfort so they can carry out learning and teaching tasks properly.
Learners have to see clearly what is written on the board, and to be able to read and write without undue effort or discomfort. In helping to optimise the learning environment, lighting favours concentration and well-being, and therefore improves attainment.
Teachers must have a dedicated management system that enables them to adapt the lighting to their needs without disturbing the lesson, again for the overall benefit of the learners in their educational development.
